I wanna congratulate you for even getting to the intermediate stages of the industry. Even if you’re not profitable, the fact that you’ve launched campaigns puts you in the top 20% of people.
At this point I’m assuming that you’ve launched campaigns before, but you have trouble getting them profitable. Even if you’re profitable, you’re not able to hit the 4-figure profit mark.
This is the make-it-or-break-it period for affiliate marketers. You can either break into the elite, or you get kinda stuck here for the next few years.

It seems like every day there’s a hot new offer. You launch a campaign but then…
a. An affiliate manager tells you another offer is hotter
b. You read on a forum about a new traffic source
c. Your buddy is telling you about his new profitable campaign
The problem is, you can’t make progress if you’re always switching lanes.
2. Getting a Campaign Profitable
Getting your campaign profitable comes from optimization. You can’t keep launching campaigns over and over again hoping one of them will become profitable. Even if it makes money, that was because of luck rather than skill. Profitable campaigns are developed. You need to split-test over and over again until you develop a system for optimization. Your other problem is knowing when to quit. You launch a campaign and it’s losing money. At what point do you quit the campaign, or do you need to keep testing? I’ll give you some hints on this later.
3. Scaling a Campaign
I remember hitting my first $500 profit a day campaign. The skill difference between $500 and $5000 a day? I thought I just needed 9 more campaigns like this. Easier said than done. More campaigns means more headaches and more managing. What I realized is that hitting big numbers doesn’t mean you’re putting in that much more work. It’s mainly three things:
a. Being on a traffic source that has volume. Don’t expect to hit $10k+ profit a day if you’re running on Plenty of Fish.
b. Having the right angle / ads to get the clicks. I always prioritize good ads over a good landing page. If no one clicks on your ads then your landing page doesn’t matter right?
c. Having an edge so you can keep that campaign going
