Week 9 Monday July 19, 2016: Celebrate Small Victories
Celebrate small victories. I started this journey on May 30, 2016. That was week one. My Big Hairy Audacious Goals were just a vision. I wasn’t in my coaching program yet, I was at a negative in my Daily Fantasy Sports, and I weighed in at 224.8lbs.
I started my Super Affiliate Marketing Business on June 10th. It took me 40 days to set up my first campaign. I didn’t think it would take that long but it did. With the investment into coaching, software, and the conference in the Dominican Republic I have put in about $20k. That is $20,000 worth of debt into my business.
I don’t recommend anyone go into personal debt for any reason. I have been preaching debt freedom for the last 4 years and advise against it when it comes to building your business. It is better to boot strap it. It would have taken me over a year to raise $20k cash.
Now, I am so clear on my vision and what I want to do that I went all in. Remember I have been working online for 4 years. I have had $100 days, $500 days, and $1000 days. My biggest month was about $8000 from different affiliate programs.
I have watched this coach for over a year. I have done my investigations and I know someone who has made money through his program. So I took the plunge. I made sure I was not boarding a sinking ship. The coaching is awesome. They have led me step by step with my first campaign. It wasn’t easy either. I had to learn a new skill set.
My First Sale
Small victories count. On Friday July 22nd I made my first sale with this coaching program. This is special because I created a campaign and I generated the traffic. Furthermore I didn’t have to wait on anyone to do their part. This was all me! I found a product, created the ad, found the keywords, and boom my first sale.
I didn’t expect it to take over 40 days to get to this point. But it feels awesome. I was jumping up and down. So I am celebrating. WooHoo!!! This is the best coaching program I have been in. The coaches are really responsive. Problems are met with solutions. Now it’s up to me to get better. They say the first sale is the hardest.
UFC Transformation Challenge
Both my UFC gyms have a transformation challenge. I am in both. Striving to win both. On July 14th I weighed in at 231.9lbs. I went to Whittier Weight Loss, got my diet pills, and committed to working out twice per day. Last Thursday I weighed it at 224.6. I have been hitting the UFC gym and the Sand Dunes.
Friday and Saturday I did cheat. I think as a result I weighed in at 227.8. On Thursday I have to weigh in for the 12 week challenge. I should be down to 224 again. Next week I start back to work. That might put a cramp into my schedule.
Take Care Of Your Days
Take care of your days and the days will take care of your weeks, and your weeks will take care of your months. Celebrate small victories because personal excellence is a grind. Working everyday is a grind, boring, mundane activity. This is why I keep my goals in front of me and constantly write them down.
I am getting better everyday. This is why I am taking pleasure in consistent persistence. I know if I target 5 activities everyday on my goals I will succeed. I don’t want to waste a day. Every moment is precious. Succeeding each day because I can only live that day. This has been the best week yet. Victory!
